How to Thrive During the First Month Without Alcohol — An Audio Class

During the past almost two years I have added another category to my blog and another dimension to my life. I stopped drinking and started talking about recovery.

It’s been an awesome ride so far. I’ve done a lot sober: visited New Orleans, moved to another country, attended a German AA meeting, ran 10ks in several different countries and enjoyed Carnival in Venice, just to name a few notable things.

Tapas are even better with lucid taste buds.

Since then, I’ve really gotten into helping others who have questions and are interested in a life without alcohol. I’ve been a penpal for more than 200 of them. I’ve gotten countless emails from folks who have found my posts insightful, inspiring or just interesting.

But I want to do more. As many of you who’ve been reading my blog know, this past year I’d been working on becoming a life coach. It wasn’t until I made a mini audio class a few months ago that it clicked: Lucid Life Coaching.

And so, it is with great pride (and a lot of excitement) that I offer my first class, How to Thrive During Your First Month Without Alcohol.

survive your first month without drinking

In the class I’ll go over what to expect mentally and physically when you stop drinking. I’ll give you tips and tricks on how to deal and actually feel good in this first month. With your purchase you’ll receive:

  • 15 minute guided meditation designed especially for the unique challenges of month one sans booze

If all goes well, I expect to create different classes every few weeks with my special brand of optimism, silliness and lucid outlook weaved in. And I’m a big fan of guided meditations, so I’m happy to be incorporating that as well. No need to be intimidated … think of it as your guided nap 🙂

If you have any requests for a class, let me know. Chances are if you’re wondering about it, so are many others. I appreciate all your suggestions and encouragement!

Hi Rebecca,

You have some great insight about the whole not drinking thing – I can relate to most of them. I’m to needing a change of this poison and decided to stop drinking full stop. It has only been 7 days now but feeling a lot better. I understand the recovery takes some time, but applaud you for the 100 days. I’ve been drinking for the last 17 years and realize what is the whole point?

I’ve been joining online forums and is a relief to see others are also going through it.

Thanks for your share.

I really enjoyed your comments! Thanks, I’m sick of this stupid addiction to the booze! I’m going to give it a go starting with one day, and on my way to 100.
